What is forest bathing?
Forest bathing - also known as Shinrin Yoku - originally comes from Japan and means immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the forest with all your senses.
It is not about hiking or sport, but about mindfulness, slowing down and consciously perceiving nature. Studies show that forest bathing strengthens the immune system, reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and promotes general well-being.
